This evolving body of work (including Text on Canvas and Murals) was initially made with the intention of mapping freeform, contemplative writing. Then the process moved towards filling the space of whatever size canvas, paper, or wall was in front of me. Gestural ink splatters were added and freeform text filled the negative space.
